Dr Sethi has pioneered, in the UK and internationally, the art and science of surgical and restorative implant dentistry for 36 years in his private Harley Street practice. His practice is totally dedicated to implant dentistry.

His systematic application of sound biological principles, research data and clinical experience have resulted in outstanding success rates in terms of predictability as well as aesthetic and functional outcome.

A founding member and past president of the Association of Dental Implantology (UK), he has been designing courses and teaching postgraduates for 36 years at programmes run by the Royal College of Surgeons, the University of Lille and in the private sector.

He has conceived and is the founding Director of the Diploma in Implant Dentistry, of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, which for the first time enables practicing practitioners to combine their education and training with a busy successful practice.

He is currently collaborating with international institutes to further promote this unique approach to professional development and raising standards across this emerging field.
He is the author, with Dr.Thomas Kaus, of a fundamental textbook “Practical Implant Dentistry” published by Quintessence, which has been translated into 11 languages around the world.

Dr. Pavan Bopanna

Expertise in Implant & Restorative Dentistry with Digital Workflow

With over two decades of experience in advanced dentistry, Dr Bopanna has been involved with implant dentistry for the last 15 years. He has created digital, model free workflows for most of Dr Ashok Sethi’s practical implant dentistry protocols established for last 40 years.

With a complete state-of-the-art lab at his centre dedicated for digital workflow on single and multiple restorations, he has designed and milled over 5000 restorations.

He is one of the very few Implant surgeons who uses 100% digital workflows for conical connection (Conus) and full mouth reconstructions. He strongly believes in sustainability and “green dentistry”. Using digital technology his team has created thousands of restorations without a model (Gypsum or Resin)

Dr. Naresh Sharma

Dr. Sharma is a specialist in Oral Surgery with over 20 years of hospital experience and runs an Implantology and oral surgery practice in Yorkshire where he provides a referral service to over 100 colleagues.

A founder member of the Yorkshire Division of the FGDP he was the co-founder of the Diploma in Implant Dentistry, and also its chief examiner. HE went on to represent the Yorkshire Division nationally at the FGDP and went on to become the Vice Dean Dr. Sharma has several publications to his name and has spoken extensively on the subject of Oral and Implant Surgery all over the world.

In 1999 he founded the Chitrakoot Project Charity to provide primary dental care to some of the poorest people in India. Since 2005 the charity has provided Plastic Surgery service for cleft Lip and Palate patients as well as burns deformities and contractures. Around 20,000 patients are seen yearly and nearly 500 patients have undergone life changing surgeries here.

Dr. Thomas Kaus

Dr. Kaus is a graduate of the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany and became a dentist in 1990. He wrote his doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Willi Schulte, who developed the Tübingen Implant System for immediate replacement of teeth. Dr. Kaus organised and implemented the postgraduate certification courses for Implantology on behalf of the provincial regulatory body in Stuttgart, Germany.

He has authored several books and has co-authored the “Practical Implant Dentistry” with Dr. Ashok Sethi, a fundamental textbook translated into eleven languages.

Together with a team of Implantologists he implemented a Diploma Programme in Implant Dentistry (Dip Imp Dent) at the Royal College of Surgeons in London, England. In 2004 he joined the University of Toronto and was a part time Assistant Professor at the Department of Prosthodontics

Dr. Cary Bopiah

After graduating Cary completed a Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from India and served as a hospital consultant, with the management of trauma and facial deformities being his forte

He completed his MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow and MJDF from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Continuing his education, he underwent training in Dental Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the FGDP. He is a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (USA).
Cary is a SAAD certified provider for sedation. He is on the editorial board of the Journals Streamdent and Journal of Oral Health and Community Dentistry.

Cary has successfully conducted training courses for dentists internationally and nationally at the University of Lancashire and the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the latter awarding him with an Honorary Lectureship in 2009 for his contribution to the Faculty of Dental Surgery.

With over fifteen years of experience in the field of Dental Implantology Cary’s special interest lies in aesthetically demanding cases and complex hard and soft tissue reconstructions. His consultancy covers several dental clinics placing dental implants and mentoring dentists interested in Implantology. He runs a general and Implant referral dental practice in Windsor.

He is a Joint Director of CKL education and has trained over 4,000 dentists to date. With over ten years of experience in the field, Dr. Bopiah excels in aesthetically demanding cases and complex reconstructions.

Dr. Jimmy Makdissi

Dr Makdissi joined the Institute of Dentistry, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, in 2004 as a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology. He directs the Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology programme of the undergraduate BDS curriculum. He completed his specialist training at Guy’s Hospital and obtained the Diploma of Dental Radiology from the Royal College of Radiologists. He has served on the Education Committee of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He has also served as the Dental Tutor for the London Deanery at Barts Health, the Faculty Tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons and as the President of the Metropolitan Branch of the British Dental Association. In addition, he is the founder of the Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) Interpretation Masterclass providing UK-based CBCT hands-on training along with a collection of e-learning modules. Jimmy is currently doing his PhD on the use of MRI in Dentistry.

Deborah Hall

Deborah Hall has been a professional presenter for 35 years. Trained by BBC TV as a journalist, she read the news on BBC-1 and BBC World (total 12 years). She now presents TV programmes & webcasts for a variety of businesses. She has chaired over 100 conferences, mainly for legal firms and the insurance market. She specialises in sharing tips from professional broadcasters in how to create impact on camera in Zoom and Teams meetings.

Deborah is the Presentation Skills Trainer for various law firms inc Birketts, Bristows, Tees Law, Charles Russell Speechlys and Freshfields; barristers from Hailsham Chambers and 4 New Square; and both staff and students at London Business School and MBA students at Durham University. Deborah is the coach for management consultants Newton Europe and PwC in Zurich, Lausanne & Geneva; and she teaches sales executives from software corporation SAP in Dublin, Cairo and Barcelona how to present to customers using their sophisticated TV technology.

Deborah is the media consultant on the scientific side of Bill Gates/WHO’s programme to vaccinate the world’s poor, so far training over 1000 delegates from 92 countries (since 2000) with specific emphasis on addressing vaccine hesitancy post-Covid.
